Ashlee Dell’Arciprete founded Breaking Ground Productions in 2021 and serves as Producer and Head of Production. In addition to Breaking Ground, she was most recently an Associate Producer at MTV Entertainment at Paramount Global until June 2022.
Before producing for MTV productions, Ashlee was a Producer and Writer at Critics Choice winning BUILD Series by Yahoo! Entertainment, formerly known as AOL BUILD, at Verizon Media Company where she closely worked with senior producers in the research and production team on BUILD Series’ new digital weekly show, The X Change Rate, hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars Season 2 winner, Monét X Change. Ashlee credits this experience at BUILD Series for aiding in her comfortability working with high-profile talent and launching her career as a producer.
Ashlee is a graduate of Fordham University at Lincoln Center in New York City where she studied Communications & Media Studies, concentrating in Film and New Media with a Marketing Minor at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business. Throughout her career, she has held a multitude of high-profile internships in marketing, social media, production, and news. Ashlee had the pleasure of working at NBC News Digital, WHDH-TV 7 News Boston, NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, and NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.
In her post-grad career, Ashlee worked several freelance opportunities including Variety’s Power of Women Gala, The 2018 and 2019 Webby Awards, and as a Production Assistant/Production Coordinator in films. Additionally, since 2016, Ashlee has been a Writer and Entertainment Journalist at StarryMag and The Knockturnal, where she contributes regularly to reviewing films and television and working red carpet events and other events such as New York Comic Con and the Tribeca Film Festival.
Ashlee is originally from a suburban town outside of Boston and is based in New York and Boston. Her passions include social justice issues and creating powerful storytelling through film and television, and plans to produce a film that screens at a major film festival.
